Setting Up Ticket Delivery Methods
As an event organizer on Yapsody, you can set up different types of ticket delivery methods either from your Box Office and Online Ticket Store. You can choose to have your event tickets delivered to your ticket buyer via Print, Email, Pick Up/Will Call, and Check-In At-Door methods.
Steps To Set Up Ticket Delivery Method
1. Go To Settings
Go to your account name, click on the drop-down and go to “Settings”.
2. Select Transaction Settings
Select the ‘Transaction Settings’ tab and go to the ‘Delivery Method’. You can select the methods you want for both the Box Office as well as the Online Ticket Store.
3. Choosing Ticket Delivery Methods
Print & Email
If you activate ‘Print and Email’ as the delivery method for ‘Online Store’, your ticket buyer will receive tickets through Print or Email. If they select print they can print the ticket immediately and If they select Email, they’ll have to enter their mail address where they wish to receive their e-tickets.
Pick Up/Will Call
If you wish to deliver tickets to your guests only at the venue then you can disable the ‘Print & Email’ option from the Online Store. They will only get ‘Pick-Up/Will Call’ as a ticket delivery option and a box to add a comment. They can select it and add a comment. E.g. The name of the person to whom the ticket to be delivered at Box office. You will get a ‘Will Call’ report at the Box office from where you can give a print to the customers.
Check-in At the Door
If you do not wish to give tickets to your customer then you can select this option. You also have the ticket delivery option from your ‘Box Office’ as Print, Email and Will Call & Check-in at the Door. For instance, if any customers request a ticket at Box office you can give them the ‘Print’ if you keep ‘Print’ option enabled at Box Office. If you wish to send tickets to the customer via Box office then enable the ‘Email’ option at Box office.
