Changing Your Upcoming Event To An Online Event
The COVID-19 pandemic and the developing situation across the globe call for a focused, united approach. If you’re one of those who believe in social distancing but not social isolation, we have some good news for you. If you’ve been following artists, musicians, and performers, you must’ve noticed how smartly they’ve been using LIVE stream to bring people together. Virtual events are here to stay and you can make full use of it during social distancing.
Steps To Change Your Upcoming Event To An Online Event:
1. Edit Your Event
After you log in to your Yapsody account, select that event from your Box Office calendar.
Click on the “Edit” button just beside the Event Info.
2. Edit Your Online Event Details and Links
Change your event description with the appropriate details, online registration and LIVE stream links for your attendees. Make sure to change your event location to a Web Event that will reflect on your Online Ticket Store.
3. Change Their Performance Time
On saving the event descriptions, you will be able to change the online event date and time based on when you decide to go LIVE with your online event. Upon clicking on Performances, you will find all Performance/s scheduled for the event.
Upon getting a pop-up window of “Edit the Performance”, change the Start Date & Time and End Date & Time. Once you’ve edited out all the necessary details, you can share your event online again to garner registrations.
4. Inform Your Guests
To increase awareness about your online event, we suggest using our Mailchimp integration to send an email informing your online attendees. You can choose to issue new tickets or honor the preexisting tickets. If you wish to reissue tickets with the new date, click here to learn how you can re-deliver tickets.
