Social media is, hands down, the best platform to promote your event about your event far and wide. The internet has been generous enough to an event presenter by providing platforms suited for every kind of event there is – concerts, high teas or conferences.

As a ticketing provider, we understand every stumbling block and hurdle you have to cross to make your event a success. We’ve made it our mission to simplify the process by providing you with the best online ticketing platform to sell your tickets online and promote your event. However, we also think there’s a little something extra we could do to ensure you get the results you’re looking for.

Create an event on Yapsody and let us help you promote your event across social media platforms of your choice. 

How We Do it

It’s simple, really. If you’re new to Yapsody, set up your account and create an event. The Event Setup Wizard will take you through a step-by-step process from getting started to publishing your event on Yapsody.

Once your event is created, use our MailChimp integration to spread the word about your event through email and promote it via the social sharing options in the box office OR make the process simpler by getting us to post for you!

There are two ways to do this:

  1. Go to https://www.yapsody.com/ticketing/social-media-marketing-of-events and fill the form at the bottom of the page. It asks for the link to your event, so make sure you have a live event published. There is also a message box where you can specify if you would like us to promote your event a certain way, with specific details and your platforms of choice. If you don’t have additional specifications, simply write ‘none’ and submit the form. Somebody from our Marketing team will work on your request by designing a graphic and creating content compelling enough for users to go to your online ticket store.
  2. Email us at marketing@yapsody.com with the same details mentioned in point one.

P.S To promote your event, it is essential that you upload a picture and write a description, as those collaterals will be our reference points.

How it Works

Yapsody’s social media profiles are connected to users from around the world. Through an event post by Yapsody, your event will be visible to a fresh new set of audience, who may be interested in your event and purchase your tickets. This service is absolutely FREE of charge, so it’s really just another method of event promotion you should consider.

Note that this activity requires team work. To ensure maximum reach of your posts, we ask that you, the event presenter and event performers (if any) share our posts for the promotion to work best.
