A household name for us all, Chris Tucker is a legend in the comedy and entertainment industry. Tucker found his roots in stand-up comedy and made his TV debut with HBO’s Def Comedy Jam back in 1992. As for his journey in the cinema world, he first gained recognition for his performance alongside Ice Cube in the movie Friday in 1995.

Even off the stand-up stage, Tucker’s passion and devotion to comedy stood true with iconic movies like the Rush Hour series, all the while giving powerful performances with gems such as Silver Linings Playbook. 

Outside of comedy, Tucker is a dedicated humanitarian, spending much of his spare time travelling around the world and doing philanthropic work to make a difference through The Chris Tucker Foundation. 

Now more than a decade post his return to the comedy scene in 2011, Tucker continues to pack a punch with each show. 

And well, this spring, the icon is finally coming to San Deigo and performing live at the Sycuan Casino Resort. Tucker is on a year-long tour across the US, making his one and only stop at El Cajon in April.
