3.Réal Béland Jass-Sainte Bourque en première partie

Formule intime!

5. Allison Crowe’s Tidings

“Allison Crowe’s resonant, rich, gorgeous voice seems as much a manifestation of Christmas as an instrument for singing holiday songs,” observes Cohencentric, the world’s most popular Leonard Cohen website. Hers is a gift delivering the essence of joy and peace, unwrapping truths that reflect a spectrum of our yuletide emotions, from tough sledding to sweet release.

As always, notes  ChristmasReviews.com, “be prepared to be amazed” when Corner Brook’s sensational singer-songwriter is about. Capping a year of theatrical excitements on-stage, Allison’s seasonal return to the RAC concert wheel-house combines the spirit of her two latest recordings – “Newfoundland Vinyl IV” and “A Time for Tidings” – with all-time yuletide album favorites “Tidings” and “Souling”.

“Silent Night”, “O Holy Night” and other carols alight, reveling and revealing, with classics of the modern canon – Cohen and Joni Mitchell, The Beatles to Ryan’s Fancy.

“Allison Crowe’s voice,” says mountain journal, The Pique, is “as warm as an open fire; as gorgeous as snow-frosted evergreens; as tender as that hug you give your mother on Christmas day.”

The tradition continues. Refresh this holiday season with friends and family, sharing “Tidings” of comfort and joy at the RAC.
