ABOUT RICK SPRINGFIELD
Australian musician and actor, Rick Springfield emerged to be one of the most popular mainstream power pop singers of the 1980s. A member of the pop rock group Zoot from 1969 to 1971, Rick started his solo career with his debut single "Speak to the Sky. He received a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for his no.1 hit single "Jessie's Girl" in 1981. Some of his other hits include "I've Done Everything for You," "Love Is Alright Tonite" and "Don't Talk to Strangers." As an actor, he has appeared in several films and TV shows such as 'Californication', 'True Detective' and 'Supernatural'. Springfield’s autobiography, “Late, Late at Night” was named No. 23 of "The 25 Great Rock Memoirs of All Time" by Rolling Stone.
