ABOUT BILLY GARDELL

American actor and stand-up comedian, William Gardell Jr. is most well-known for his role as Chicago police officer Mike Biggs on Mike & Molly. Billy first came into the comic scene when he released his first comedy album, “Billy Gardell: Throwback.” Prior to that, he appeared in multiple feature features, such as “Bad Santa,” “Avenging Angelo” and “You, Me and Dupree.” Billy has also made several appearances in TV shows like “Desperate Housewives” and “The King of Queens,” before being cast as the lead of “Mike & Molly.” Most recently, the actor was cast as Bob in the CBS pilot Bob ♡ Abishola. Billy credits his grandmother for his success, saying "She told me when I was 8 years old that I could be a comic".
